Axiom is seeking a Senior Python Engineer - Data Platform (Remote) for a leading blockchain intelligence firm, providing real-time blockchain analysis and compliance solutions.
This is a remote role and we are flexible with considering applications from anywhere in Europe.
What You'll Do
- Integrate blockchains, AMM protocols, and bridges into the platform.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend services.
- Integrate new technologies into existing processes and tools.
- Design and implement end-to-end features.
- Code, debug, test, and deliver features while providing code reviews and feedback to team members.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience developing Python backend services and APIs.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, understand, and debug complex queries.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, database architecture, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with POSIX/Unix/Linux ecosystems and Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
- Ability to work independently, with a team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
Nice To Have
- Practical experience with big data frameworks like Kafka, Spark, Flink, and analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Passion for Bitcoin and blockchain technologies.
- Experience with distributed systems and open-source solutions.
- Experience with Java or a willingness to learn.
